FLORIDA HIGH SPEED RAIL
Approval for the Florida High Speed Rail as well as a 1.25 billion dollar grant were announced on January 28th, 2010. The first of its kind in America, the FHSR will initially have corridors which run between Miami, Orlando and Tampa, and service multiple locations inbetween. As the first high speed train in America, there were no pre-established design guides for the FHSR to follow. Using the state slogan as inpiration for the design of the logo and color palette, the FHSR was given the modern, sleek identity which complemented the fast-paced mode of transportation. Tickets, station signage, as well as playing cards were all designed with the passengers and destinations of rail travel in mind.
